Residents' Panel

The Residents’ Panel gives residents the opportunity to serve the Clapham Park community by directly influencing Clapham Park Homes (CPH) policies, strategies and budgets.  The panel plays an important role as it enables residents to share their views on the regeneration process with CPH and gives CPH another outlet to communicate with residents and respond to issues raised.  The residents’ panel is made up of a diverse group of Clapham Park residents who each feel very strongly about different issues.  This ensures that the issues that are discussed are applicable to a large cross section of residents.

The Panel works from a framework of key performance indicators measured by CPH, for example, standards around the estate, resident satisfaction with repairs and timeframe for completion of repairs, and numbers of ASB cases. This is in addition to concerns raised by residents on behalf of their community.

Recent achievements by the residents’ panel include the extension of CPH opening hours, introduction of the luncheon club for elderly residents at Homan House, improved estate inspections along with the valuable comments on CPH’s domestic violence and anti social behaviour policy.
