Planned and cyclical maintenance

In 2007 CPH developed a plan to address the important or urgent large maintenance issues that would need addressing before the completion of the MasterPlan. This was then divided into two categories, cyclical and planned.

The cyclical works are intended to improve the appearance of the common parts of buildings.

Planned Programme

The planned programme covers larger one off projects that are intended to remedy serious building failures or problems that present a health or safety risk. Obviously all of these will be resolved by the regeneration master plan so these are prioritised in terms of risk and cost savings, it is sometimes cheaper to replace a roof than continuing to repair it for a number of years. The residents’ panel has been actively involved in helping us set these priorities.

The blocks that will be receiving decorations during the 2010-2011 financial year include:

  • 1-60 BOWIE CLOSE
  • 1-89  PLUMMER ROAD
