Our responsibilities
As your landlord, we have a responsibility to carry out certain repairs to your property. We are responsible for repairs to your home's structure, including the roof, guttering and shared parts of the buildings such as communal stairways.
Our responsibilities:
- Baths – repair or replacement.
- Boilers.
- Brickwork.
- Carpentry – except internal doors and all locks.
- Communal areas – including lifts, lighting, entry doors, etc.
- Central heating – including storage heaters and fitted electric fires, excluding bleeding radiators.
- Decoration (external).
- Doors (external).
- Drains – excluding waste pipes.
- External timber/fencing, roof, gutters, etc.
- Floorboards.
- Garages.
- Hand basins – repair or replacement.
- Kitchen units and worktops.
- Plasterwork – except minor cracks.
- Plumbing repairs and leaks – not including domestic items.
- Skirting boards.
- Stairs.
- WC repairs – if blockage is caused by neglect you will be recharged.
- Windows.
