Metropolitan Housing Partnership(MHP) is a family or successful member organisations providing housing, regeneration, community and support services.
Housing and sustainability are key issues for MHP as part of the political agenda, both in terms of the shortage of affordable and intermediate homes, and the creation of socially and environmentally-sustainable communities.
The scale of these challenges is still being defined and, although the solutions are not always easy, it’s our job to find them. We want to work with the Government to meet these goals and believe that MHP and other major associations can play a significant role in strengthening and building new, sustainable communities.
Our record in regenerating estates and building communities from their roots is unquestioned. London boroughs continue to hail our efforts and work with us to do more. Major schemes, such as Barnet (West Hendon), Lambeth (Clapham Park and Ashmole), and Hackney (Kings Crescent, Colville and the six estates), will transform the areas. We have also been bold in putting forward schemes with very low carbon emissions and with high energy standards.
