Ending your tenancy

To end your tenancy you must give us four weeks’ notice in writing. You will be expected to pay four weeks’ rent from the date of notice.
You will be expected to clear all of your belongings from the premises and leave the property in a clean condition to enable the next tenant to move in without delay.
You should make arrangements to have your gas and electricity meters read and the telephone disconnected.

You’ll also need to make any minor repairs that are your responsibility (e.g. filling holes in walls where you’ve taken shelves down.) We may visit your home before you leave and can charge you for carrying out any unfinished repairs.

Keys must be returned to our office on or before the last day of your tenancy if you wish to avoid paying extra rent. You must also provide a forwarding address in case we need to contact you after you have moved on.
